How to fix http 404 error?

I have uploaded several files to our groups. Now members get the HTTP 404 error when trying to download. Why?

Certain Files in our groups File section are always giving us the HTTP 404 Not Found error. We have several files in each of our 9 groups. We are teaching groups. But some of the files, some small, some large, always give us this error. I have written Yahoo support about it and gotten no reply. Is this something we can fix? We have tried deleting them and uploading them again....doesn't help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
