Can I make a custom Layout for my yahoo group?

My group doesn't show when word searching under Yahoo Groups. How can I fix this?

  • My group name is Custom Wallpaper and I want it to appear when the Yahoo Group's word search for "desktop wallpaper" is done. How can I correct this without changing the group name or link? It does appear when searching just "wallpaper" but most searches are done using the words "desktop wallpaper." I want to make the group easier to find.

    add desk top to your group name, which alters nothing of the groups functions- it'll take a day or 3 to update alst list that way in the directory. the only way to change how it's found in the directory is the title of the group, and what ket words one would use to locate a group

Yahoo Group searches also search on the Description of a Group. So you don't have to add the word desktop to your Group title - you can add it to your Group's Description instead. In fact, I would recommend placing the phrase Desktop Wallpaper somehwere in your Group's Description. (Though crazy_mom was correct about one thing - once you make this change, it'll take a couple days for the Yahoo Groups search engines to incorporate that change into their searches and show your Group under Desktop Wallpaper searches.)
