How do I display my new Yahoo name within a group?

Why doesn't my yahoo display name show up in my groups?

  • I am trying to get my display name to show in my yahoo group but it shows my email name.

    I know...I am also wondering this. I use to post messages and my name would show up but now it just shows up as my user name and I don't like that because people recognize me as Ricky E and not just my user name so less people are replying to my messages. So, someone out there help us.

this depends on if you post from e-mail, or from off the group. try go to mail- click mail options (right top)- under setting click mail settings - under From Name, enter name- click save changes upper left then send some posts from your e-mail, then from off the group. pretty sure your name wil only appear if you're posting from off the group. when you post from e-mail, your e-mail is what appears
