What do these email newsletter services do to prevent their e-mails from going to spam folders?

My FreeCycle emails going directly to SPAM FOLDERS?

  • Hello, I am using FreeCycle. I've been told that when I respond or "reply to "offers" on FreeCycle my emails go directly to the member's SPAM folder. This means that I am missing out on potential Freecycle offers because most members don't check their SPAM folder. Can you help me? Why are my emails going to other member's SPAM folders when I "reply" to "Offers"? Thank you.

  • Answer:

it's an issue with their mail providers and there's not much you can do about it, sorry

Other answers

The best option you have is to mark these emails NOT as Spam so that the mail client you are using will "learn" and put those emails in your inbox. Email programs have a special "artificial intelligence" mechanism built into it and usually if triggered enough, the emails will get white listed. If not, just add the FreeCycle email address to your SAFE SENDERS List.
