How can I forward pictures to another person?

How can a person stop getting pictures in e mail?

  • I own a Yahoo group. It allows pictures within the e mails that are posted. One member objects and claims pictures in e mails take up space on his computer even if he doesn't open them. How can he avoid getting pictures that are sent within e mails (not attachments).

  • Answer:

Here's what Yahoo Help says about that: "I prefer the original, "traditional" email format. Can I still receive it? Yes. Here are a few ways to do that: Click Edit Membership at the top of the group’s home page. In Step 3 at the bottom of the page, select "Traditional". Click Save Changes. Within an email from the group, you can also click change delivery settings in the email footer. Finally, you can make this change via email by sending an email to "[email protected]" where "GROUPNAME" is the name of your group." Hope that helps!

If the first answer doesn't solve the problem, tell this member to switch to Daily Digest mode. Pictures that are delivered in Individual Message mode aren't delivered in Daily Digest mode. Do this by going to the Group's home page and clicking on Edit Membership (in the middle of the top line, just below the ad if there is one). Then scroll down to Step 2 Message Delivery and select Daily Digest. Don't forget to click Save Changes when you're done.
