I cant delete my empty group from yahoo messenger.?

for that i already did i select that group and right click on that group and 'Delete Group' but when i login again then it seems not deleted.also i go through Contacts>>Manage Group>>Delete Group but i having problem ......so how can i delete this group from messenger?
Answer:

To leave a group: Go to the group's site, click on edit membership along the top. In the next window scroll down and check leave group Click save changes and you should be out. It may take a day to take effect. To close a group :Click management lower left on your home page. Then you will see "delete group." Click and follow the prompts.
