What do the Yahoo administrators actually do?

Deleting Old Administrators From Yahoo Group?

  • I've recently inherited a Yahoo Group - and I wish to know how to delete the old administrators. In their fields it reads: n/a - so I assume I cannot edit them the regular way. Thank you

    you cant edit this in any way. you must be a moderator and you can see this by going to the members list- clicking the moderator tab and see what color crown is next to your ID. bottom line, you don't have the privilege to remove the owner, period. there is no other way to remove them.

When you say "Old Administrators", are you referring to the previous owner/s of the group? If you are, then there is no way that you can remove them if you are NOT of the owners. Even though you have a full control as moderator still owners will stay in your group forever. ONLY owner can remove a fellow owner/s and moderators. Hope it helps! :o)
