How can I quit from a yahoo group?

Iam currently in a yahoo group.I donot want to continue in that group. pls say how can I cut my membership in that group? pls tell ur age also........

depends on how you joined- those who joined a group via e-mail subscribe or were added members can only leave by the unsubscribe e-mail, but leaving a group via the unsubscibe e-mail is faulty, if that's the only way you can leave, you will need the help form http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/original/ownmod/forms/general.html;_ylt=Arz4ruP4UvDhafYZVOhh8SoKCXdG?from_url=http://messages.groups.yahoo.com/Groups/Moderators/threadview?m=tm&bn=grp-issues&tid=28812&mid=28818&tof=1&frt=1 go to group home page and click edit membership top middle of page- bottom right click Leave Group- next page confirm and click Leave or go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the last column check the small box - click save changes

Go to the group's site, click on edit membership along the top. In the next window scroll down and check leave group Click save changes and you should be out. It may take a day to take effect. Sending an email usually doesnt work.
