How do you keep msgs in private groups private?

Yahoo groups problemo...argh! Can't view ANY msgs?

  • Help!! I can access all but one of my yahoo groups. This particular group (which I'm told works for others okay), I'm unable to view any msgs - archived or new. As soon as I hover mouse over any month in history, nothing is highlighted, so I have nothing to click on to enter. I dunno why. I've been invited etc, maybe my settings? - i dunno - arrrgh, help please!! xxx

    Usually when you have been invited, you still have to join the group. Go to the group online. If you see a "Join This Group" button, click on it and go through the joining process. In the reason for joining field, type in that you were invited. Follow all prompts. You will soon get an email that you are now a member of the group. Another way to see if you actually are a member of that group is to sign in to any group of which you are a member. On the upper right side of page, click on "My Groups". If this particular group does not show up, you will actually have to go through the joining process as outlined above.

the archives may not be open to members. most times if you're a member and cannot access archives, they are hidden/closed.
