Why are there Groups on Yahoo Groups That Dont Show Up in Search?

• I am looking for certain groups on yahoo but when I search for them on yahoo groups they don't show up. But when I type the name of the group in to the url the group comes up. I have found this out with a lot of groups. It is like yahoo doesn't show every group on the search engine for them. How can I search for groups with out having to do the trial and error part of typing group names into the url field? Example groups.yahoo.com/group/"fillintheblank"

For those groups, you must know the group's url such as you have mentioned in your question. -Groups in the Adult category do not show up in group searches or in the Groups Directory. -Groups where the owners have selected not to list their groups in the Groups Directory. -Groups that are new. It takes up to a week for them to show up in a groups search and be listed in Groups Directory.
