What to send emails to Yahoo groups?

I can't get my own emails that I send to Yahoo Groups I'm a member of.?

• I have seen several people asking this question, but none of the answers ever really said how to correct it. One asker said she fixed it herself, but never said how. Here are the details: 1. I receive all emails from the groups in question EXCEPT the ones I actually send in. 2. The posting show up in a few seconds on the website, but never show up in my email. 3. I've checked my spam box and every other place in GMail, and it is not there (I've seen the problem where emails from yourself get put by GMail into the sent items, but that is not the case here). 4. All of my groups are set to individual email, and none are bouncing. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

  When I first got a gmail account and composed a message, there was a box to check next to "Send me a copy of this message". I just checked my gmail and found that option is no longer available. I looked through *endless* gmail help pages - this is a copy/paste of what I did find and I hope it answers your question: "I expected to find a message in my inbox, but it's not there. Is something wrong? When you send a message to any mailing list you subscribe to, Gmail automatically skips your inbox and archives the message to save you time and prevent clutter. The message will appear in your inbox if someone responds to it or if there is an error delivering the message.
