Not receiving e-mails from one of my Yahoo Groups?
-
I am a member of 4 Yahoo Groups. All are related with some common members. All appear to be set up identically. For 3 of the groups any messages created by members of the group are forwarded to my e-mail account (Freeserve). With the 4th group any message sent to the Yahoo Group by the moderator reach me but I do not receive any from other members. I can go into the Group on the Yahoo site and read them there but I don't want to keep doing this so I am missing messages between members. With this same Group, even when looking at messages directly on Yahoo, I do not see attachments. (No problem with the other 3 Groups) - all I see is a rectangle with text stating what the attachment is (e.g., Attachment regionalmins.doc Type: application/msword) but not clickable. Any ideas anyone?

Answer:
maybe the one group has your mail settings to special notice, which would bt why you'd only get the moderators posts only. I'd check your settings at group home page top middle edit membership- scroll to bottom and be sure individual mail is selected- click save changes not all groups save the attachments to the groups; some set it to go to e-mail only. on the groups home page left icon under Info - settings click settings, scroll down and see if '•Email attachments are distributed, not archived' is there

This has been happening for some time now, Yahoo are working on it they say but for now try this.Recommended fixes for the many current problems include Update Adobe Flash Player Internet Explorer and Java script . Clear Explorer cache, cookies, and browsing history. Some find that a return to classic mail improves things. You could also try an alternative browser. Hope this helps
