What happened to all the chat rooms Yahoo used to have?

There used to be a ton of chat rooms on yahoo where you could meet a bunch of people. Any one remember them? What happened to all them? WTF? I used to meet a lot of women on them. Now they are gone!

Quite a while ago, (I would say years at this point), they stopped letting people make their own rooms. Go under Romance, By Location, Florida.
