How to report spam yahoo groups?

How do we report an abandoned yahoo group?

  • I am a member of a group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/uncut-men/) that is letting spam through 90 percent of the time. How do I report the group?

    Id Contac owner if you can & go on daily digest or read from web maybe the owner is really sick? had a Stroke? in hospital? If you like the group you can always go on no mail & check it that way no mail in your mail box theres lotts & tons of Abandoned groups i think some owners dont care no more or other Personal reasons, Yahoo will only delete it & it will take time then youd have to give info/ your e mail to yahoo. Not worth the time nor day for me id let the kids have fun & you have these choices 1.. Just leave group & move foward 2, Write to yahoo ( youll have to give out info & link to group) 3 Go on No mail & just look at it every so often 4..Go on daily digest Good luck !!

I don't think there is a way to report the group. Your only remedy is to unsubscribe. Send a message: [email protected] That should do it.

some or even most of that spam seems to be appropriate for that adult group. that group has open archives and it seems the only members are those spammers, seems to be going on for 9 years. try contacting the owner and if the owner is long gone, might as well leave the group cuz if you could report it to Yahoo and if Yahoo did anything, they'd just delete the group.
