How can I make sure my real name does not appear when I post a message in my yahoo group?

  • Even though my settings do not have my real name....my real name is still showing up when I post a message in my group! I really don't want my real name to appear...how do I fix this?

  • Answer:

    If you're posting by email, you have to change the name on your email program. If you're posting from the group web site, the "real name" you have indicated is the one that will appear. Change it to the name you prefer and save the change. Sign into this page http://manage.members.yahoo.com/index_listprofiles.html and EDIT your Real Name. Save the change. Hope that helps.

My real name shows up in yahoo messenger when I IM people they have all my information - - I looked in contact details but still can't figure it out when you find out let me know...
