How do you quit being part of a Yahoo! Group?

I joined a group (Freecycle Gainesville) but now I want to quit. How do I?

Go to the group's site, click on edit membership along the top. In the next window scroll down and tick leave group Click save changes and you should be out. It may take a day to take effect

if you send the unsub e-mail- expect delays and you'll still get mail until it goes through if you can go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the Last column Leave Group, check small box - click save changes
