Yahoo groups problem?

Does anybody out there have a problem with Yahoo groups causing them to sign in repeatedly?

• I own 7 Yahoo grooups. I should state that I'm on a Mac and I only use the Firefox browser. For two days, now, when I try to approve posts, approve new members or do anything else on one of the groups' pages, I am asked repeatedly to sign in. In one hour, I was forced to sign in 23 times. In one case, I had to sign in 9 times just to approve 1 new member. ANd, of course, Yahoo is not providing any answers, despite repeated requests for help. Does anyone know what the problem is, or should I just move my groups to Google?

  I just found this in yahoo group blogs. It talks about exactly what you are describing* Several of you have reported that when visiting your groups, you’re repeatedly asked to enter your password in order for you to proceed. While this is the expected behavior if you haven’t logged in two weeks, or, are attempting to add users to your group, this should not be happening when you’re simply trying to access a group or post a message through the web. We are currently investigating this issue, but believe that users who recently upgraded to the newest version of Firefox (3.5.2 or 3.5.3) are impacted by this problem. Until the issue is resolved, we suggest using a different browser for the time-being (ex: Internet Explorer, Safari, or Opera). Or, you may participate in your groups by posting messages via email.
