How can I change the Group settings?

I would like to change the group settings, that new membership to need approval of the owner or moderator. (a new unknown member appeared in the group, and I want to prevent these situations) Thank you in advance!

Answer:
click management- under group settings click membership- Membership Type and Welcome Message (Edit) <-- click the edit- select restricted- click save changes. then go back to home page and click edit membership- scroll to very bottom and check to get the notice for pending members- click save changes
