How to join a Black ops group?

Anyone want to join a yahoo group!?

• This is an R/C Air/boat/car group setup by oldtimers of R/C Modeling. We want all R/C folks to come join. Post your photos ,ask questions,answer questions. Just a place for modelers to come and have fun. You can also buy,sell,trade equipment, parts,supplies, and best of all find great deals and even get an oldtimers perspective on repairing crackups and crashes.   I am a Yahoo and Google Group Owner and I wouldn't advertize open membership like this. It is not a good idea. You could get all kinds of screwballs, spammers and the like doing this. If you need to advertise to get your membership up and running, do so, but with a Moderated join policy and with only those that give a reason for wanting to join and a full profile with age noted there. Also with any group, keep an off line list of all members and their e-mail addresses in case you have any problems, you will have a hard copy to fall back on for the members information. Just thought I'd give you my 2 cents worth, for what it's worth. Good luck with your group.
