When looking for new music what groups are good to try out? What good new artists are out?

I am starting to get tired of the music I have now. I am looking for some new music. I currently listen to a bunch of country, alternative, pop, a little bit of rap nothing hard core( Rap, metal, rock) None of that stuff. In that genre what are some great bands that are good to listen to? Thanks so much! I am pretty open to most stuff, I am a music geek big time :)

Within Temptation is one of my favorite bands.....Imogen Heap very different and fresh to listen to if you haven't ever heard of her she is also my favorite artist. I can't really tell what you would or wouldn't like but check them out some time you could possible like them you never know hope this helped:)
