How to Cancel Amazon order after message?

  • This portion of your order is being prepared for shipment and cannot be canceled or changed. stupid thing popped up 30 mins after i placed the order so now i cant cancel. I no longer need the products and was wondering if there was a # i could call or if i will get 100% refund on everything(even shipping) and i bought on thing from a company on amazon that wasnt amazon.

    with most things that amazon sells, they DO offer a return policy. When you get the package, go to the cancel order tab and they'll send you an email. (When it asks why you are returning it, say something like it was not what you thought the web site offered... if it's their fault, you get shipping costs back!). Amazon has always been really honest and quick with me in replacing whatever I needed. Good luck.

I would contact the seller as soon as possible via email, or phone number if available. If the seller has not shipped the item out yet, then they will usually just cancel the order, and there will be no charge for you. If they have already shipped the item, they will most likely charge you for shipping. Also, if you do NOT accept the package then they will not charge you.

I odered and received a book from Amazon. It wasn't what I wanted. I Emailed Amazon, and they linked me to a website from where I printed a Mail Return Label. I stuck this on the (Unopened) package, posted it, and it didn't cost a penny. If you contact them before you receive the package, you will need a good reason for NOT wanting it.
