How do I move a file in Yahoo Groups?

How can I move my Yahoo groups of one profile to another Yahoo email?

  • Hi there. I have subscribed to several adult groups with one Yahoo ID, now I have changed my Yahoo ID and want to move them to new ID. Please advise. Amber

    you can use an alias off your primary Yahoo ID, but to totally change to a new ID, you'll have to subscribe to all those groups again under that yahoo account. no other way. you cant simply move it all over from one account to another, sorry you can change the e-mail to your current Yahoo ID to another, but if you're using Yahoo mail, this will prove difficult since you'll have to be signing in and out of each. go to this link- http://groups.yahoo.com/myprefs click add email address on top left- follow steps and confirm address. then go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the column Email Address click the arrow for the drop down box and select new address- click save changes

Amber,, you have to add the new email address to your yahoo lsit of emails... Then go your groups(after you have verified the new email), and switch the new email to the active email. I do no think you can just change the groups from one ID to another, unless you added the new ID as a new ID under your previous ID. Hope I am making sense.
