Block a group member without blocking the group?

  • can you block a particular member from being emailed to you? you know, like spam him out?

  • Answer:

    If you block a message being sent to you from the group which includes a message posted to the group by that member, it will block all messages from the group. Just ignore posts by this person that are included in messages from the group. If the member is sending you private emails from his personal email account (not through the group), then you can block the person or mark the message as spam without affecting group messages.

you should through your e-mail be able to block anyones address and it wont effect all group posts or the group. the first thing is the e-mail of the sender, not the group address. same thing as to why some go to spam and not all group posts- it's the senders e-mail address going to spam, not the groups
