Is there any way to change the name of my Yahoo group?

How do I stop spammers from ruining a yahoo group I belong to?

• I belong to a yahoo group and keep getting spam from one domain name. I get several daily and lot of people are leaving the group because of it. The group moderator left a while ago, so I don't know of any way to change the settings. Is there anything I can do to stop the constant spam messages?

  Only the group owner or moderators can change the settings, so you won't be able to do anything in the current group to stop the spam. You would need to set up a new group where you and possibly other active members are the moderators. In a new group, you would be able to ban spammers or moderate messages/memberships in order to stop spammers. As for the pictures, to get them in the new group, you would have to save them to your computer and reupload them to the group. Or you can just leave them at the old group and provide the link at the new group.
