Freecycle is a great Group but I can't keep up with the volume. I was going to unsubscribe, but I'm thinking I'll forget about the website.

go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the column message delivery, click the arrow on the drop down box and select no mail or digest- click save changes digest send every 24 hrs or 25 posts, which ever comes first. not so active groups you may get one digest with 4 posts. high volume groups you can have 4 to 5 digests in one day.

It's not possible to receive group messages monthly. These are your options for any and all Yahoo groups including Freecycle: Individual Emails: Messages are delivered one at a time to your email inbox. This is the best option if you want to keep up on the latest posts immediately. Email attachments, if included in a message and allowed by the group owner, will be sent directly to you. Daily Digest: Messages are delivered in batches of 25 or daily, whichever comes sooner. This is the best option if you want to receive fewer mail messages and don't need up-to-the minute posts in your inbox. Email attachments are not available in digests. No Mail: Only Special Notices from the group owner/moderator will be sent to you. Web Only: You will receive no messages from the group. You will read the messages on the group site. Most Freecycle and recycle groups' owners require members to receive either Individual Messages or Daily Digest, so I would recommend you change your email delivery for that group to Daily Digest. This is how to do that: Sign in to the group. Click "Edit Membership" near top of page. Scroll down to Step 2. Message Delivery. Select "Daily Digest". Scroll down to bottom of page and click "Save Changes".
