How do I unsubscribe from a yahoogroups?

    To leave/unsubscribe from the group’s webpage: 1.Sign in to your Yahoo! account if you aren’t already logged in. 2.On the Yahoo! Front Page, move your mouse over View Yahoo! Sites and click Groups from the list that displays on the right. 3.Go to the My Groups page. 4.Click Edit My Groups. A page listing all your groups and editing options will appear. 5.Under Leave Group, click the checkbox next to the group you plan to leave, and then click Save Changes.

Go to the group you want to leave and look up at the top, in small print you will see "Edit Membership".. click on that and on the next page look down at the bottom right you will see a tab that says [Leave Group], click that. You be be asked if you are sure you want to leave the group, if you are sure then click on the blue tab that says [confirm]. After that you will be removed from that group.

those who joined a group via e-mail subscribe or were added members can only leave by the unsubscribe e-mail, but leaving a group via the unsubscibe e-mail is faulty, if that's the only way you can leave, you will need the help form http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/original/members/contact/ygbugform.html go to group home page and click edit membership top middle of page- bottom right click Leave Group- next page confirm and click Leave or go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the last column check the small box - click save changes

Go to the group's site, click on edit membership along the top. In the next window scroll down and check leave group Click save changes and you should be out. It may take a day to take effect. Emailing the group seldom works.
