How do I search for Yahoo members by their email address?

How can invited members join without creating a yahoo email address?

  • In the signup process new members without a yahoo id are required to create one but it defaults to creating a yahoo email address and they don't want one. Group info says you can join with any email address, so how do I instruct new members to join without creating a yahoo email address? Thanks

    The Yahoo invites have 2 options within it, one is joining just he mailing list for those who do not want a yahoo ID/ account (you can have an account w/o the mail end of it). Yahoo invites have a simple gray Join This group on the right, they click it- next page load on the botton is "As an alternate option, you may join the mailing list instead." they click that and they're now a member without a Yahoo ID/ account but those members must keep in mind they wont be able to log onto the groups homepage.

People questioned this type of topic before and it's also a catch 22 situation at best. You are bound if you do and doomed if you can't. In reality I'd been simply speaking to our school age girl as well as her pals who recognize all about that sort of information. They smiled and told me to view this individuals useful site. Yahoo Groups have always been open to non-registered Yahoo members. Recently Yahoo has opened up participation in most other Yahoo properties, such as Yahoo Answers, to members of Google and Facebook: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/GroupManagersForum/message/34253 Non-registered members of Yahoo Groups cannot see some of the web features of Groups such as Files, Polls, Members; but the the Group's Home Page is always public, unless the Group is "closed", and if set to public view, the message archives, Group links, and Group calendar can also be viewed by anyone.
