How do I change my name as it appears in various Yahoo groups?

I am a member of one Yahoo group where I am often referred to by my real name, Jennifer, as well as a goofy nickname, Furniture. Using the goofy nickname in one groupp is fine, its an inside joke that we commonly reference so I included in when I set up my profle 8 years ago. But now when I join other Yahoo groups all my postings and responses show up with both my real name and the goofy nickname. While I know how to edit my profile to update an email address - have not been able to find out how I remove the nickname so it does not appear alongside my given name in every posting/response. Help?

go to mail- click mail options (right top)- under management click General Preferences- under Name and Email back space out the name- click save see if that's where it is

open up your account and up date it where it says a AKA change it or delete it and click finish.
