How to see the names of group members in yahoo groups?

  • i have recently started using yahoo groups ...i have joined a group related to my university...hoe can i see the names of the people who have also joined it... ps:its not my group..i am a member

I believe the owner of the group chooses during setup of what is accessible to other members. I am in several yahoogroups some of which I'm a member only and some of which I own. I checked the ones where I'm just a member and on some of them, there's a "Members" link, but on others there aren't. My guess is that whoever created your school yahoogroup didn't allow other members to see the member list.

On the left side bar, look for "members", if it's not there then the group owner doesn't have it available to the members of the group. The only way to know who are members then, is when they post to the group.
