How to unsubscribe mails from Yahoo group?

  • Hi I became member of a yahoo group last month.. I was not able to gel with the idea..So I unsubscribed my membership.. Despite unsubscribing from the group and sending numerous mails about to stop the mails from the group I am continuously get almost every mail from them.. it is getting annoying How to stop all correspondence from the yahoo group all together.. Best suggestion gets 10 pints.. Thanks in advance..

    Well, I can say, as an owner of 2 Yahoo groups, yahoo has a bug with the unsubscribe action. write to the owner of the group and ask them to physically go in and remove you. I will warn you that sometimes this does not even work lately. Just hit the delete button. Eventually Yahoo will catch up!

leaving a group via the unsubscibe e-mail is faulty, if that's the way you left, you will need the help form (the owner will not see you as a member if tis is how you left) http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/original/general.html?from_url=http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/original/ go to group home page and click edit membership top middle of page- bottom right click Leave Group- next page confirm and click Leave or go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the last column check the small box - click save changes

if you edit to Unsub? sometimes yahoo is SLOW & you will still get e mails, For up to 48 hours or little more. What i did,, was block the Entire Group, LOL & everyones e mails, & guess what??? it worked for me,
