How to contact Yahoo Groups about an unresponsive moderator?

• Hello, I am one of several members of the BergenCountyClassifieds group whom have been repeatedly e-mailing the group moderator with requests for the person to not only do their job (politely put to the person) and moderate the group to keep it spam free but to additionally request direct answers to questions but no moderator ever replies. We do not know at this time if there is a moderator, how to get them to reply to our attempts to contact them or how to get in touch with Yahoo Groups to either find out if the group currently has no moderator (been abandoned) or to request the assignment of a new moderator (I am volunteering). Does any one know how to resolve a situation like this? Thank you, Alisa

  As far as I know attempting to get Yahoo to reassign an owner doesn't usually work. The owner owns the group whether they are active or not and they are the only ones who can pass it to someone else. Creating a new group may be your best bet.
