How do I close a group I created after I deleted my e-mail account?
-
I thought when I closed my Yahoo! e-mail account that the group I created with it would disappear. I was wrong. The group is there and collecting lots of spam. It needs to be closed. How do I do that? Thanks.

Answer:
That is why you are supposed to handle all of your business before deleting your Yahoo! account. I'd contact Yahoo! and tell them that it was your group and that you'd like it deleted. They should have records that you are bouncing in the group and that it used to be your group.

Go to the group page, logged into the Yahoo account that owns the group. Go to management. Click the Delete link. If you closed the entire account, I don't know what to tell you other than write to Yahoo customer service and see what they do.
