Phoebe is right about where to look. I would only add one thing. When you set up a group, you get to choose whether to list it in the Yahoo! Groups directory. If you choose not to, it can't be found. So there's no way, or at least no easy way, to get a complete list of all the yahoo groups.

Go to http://groups.yahoo.com if you want to check all Yahoo Groups. You probably would have to specify which country the groups you would like to check out because there could be a lot.
