How can I find a "private" group in Yahoo groups?

I can not find my yahoo group when I search all yahoo groups is there something I need to do?

I can not find my group when I search all yahoo groups or narrow search to health etc. I have tried several times. I there some setting I need to change? The group was once very active but has not been used in a while....if that has any bearing. It hasn't been deleted. Thanks a bunch!!! Beth

you'd want to look in the group settings under descriptions and be sure it's listed in the directory, providing it's not a closed membership group which wont list.

as moderator you should have the right keywords in the description of the group. If ypu look for the group you should use those keywords, linked by "+" Unfortunately, there's some @#$% who create fake groups with a lot of keywords in the description to sabotage the search...
