How can i unsubscribe from text messages to yahoo groups?

i have a cell phone that the number was someone else's and they subscribed to yahoo groups and i get 10-20 text messages at a time and its really annoying i tried calling yahoo and they didn't do anything about it i just want the messages to stop can anyone help me???
