How can I remove my e-mail address from Yahoo groups?

In Yahoo Groups, how can I use my disposable Yahoo Email address, so my main address is not visible to group.?

  • I have Yahoo Email, main address and disposable addresses. I generally use the disposable addresses to avoid SPAM. In Yahoo groups, my account is my main email address. If I post to the group, the group sees my main email address. How do I avoid this and use my disposable email address in Yahoo groups? Thanks

    Re register under your disposable Email, as far as I know the same name can be used by different people, in YA there are at least 3 using ? so just register as Dave using the new Email address

Add the disposable to your account go to this link- http://groups.yahoo.com/myprefs click add email address on top left- follow steps and confirm address. then go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the column Email Address click the arrow for the drop down box and select new address- click save changes
