How do I stop getting email messages from a particular Yahoo group?

A friend added me to this particular Yahoo group, and I keep getting email messages, actually a reminder via email message, about something that has already happened. How do I stop getting these messages/reminders. Thank you.

If this doesn't work out, send an e-mail to the group owner telling him/her to stop mailing you. ([email protected]) If these still didn't work for you try the following option: 3.
