Why am I not getting the e-mails posted in my group?

I keep getting messages about/from a group I left.?

  • Getting emails saying photos have been posted, etc. for Bay Area Friends group; but I don't belong to that group anymore. Help!

  • Answer:

    You may try one of the following: 1.Try to unsubscribe through: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/original/members/manage/manage-26.html 2. If this doesn't work out, send an e-mail to the group owner telling him/her to stop mailing you. ([email protected]) If these still didn't work for you try the following option: 3. Block the address(es) or arrange your preferences so that they are sent to your bulk/spam folder.

If you left by sending an email oftentimes that way doesn't work try this. Go to the group's site, click edit membership along the top. In the next window scroll down and check leave group Click save changes and you should be out. It may take a day to take effect.

it appears you're stuck in the unsub loop, send the help form and explain it and yahoo will fully remove you from the group help form http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/original/members/contact/ygbugform.html
