Former Member Of Closed Group Still Getting Group Messages?
-
I am moderator of a closed group with the following settings: Group Settings Membership requires approval Messages do not require approval All members can post messages Once a member is removed from the group, I would expect that they should no longer get group messages or to be able to send email to the group; however, I know of one such person that still seems to be getting our messages and is posting to our message board. How is this possible and is there anything I can do to stop this?

Answer:
the home remedy is this: add the person as a member again. Set the membership to "no mail". If that works, you can delete the membership
