Why can't I join the group I was invited to?

I have been invited to join a group but the join tab does not lead to the group or joining anything. Why?

• This driving me crazy! I get a page that says my groups but there are none listed. I try to search for the group that has invited me to join and it says that I am denied access because I am not a memeber even though they have invited me to join.

  last I looked, in an invite the join tab was gray and in the lower right corner of the e-mail and it states "join this group" it should take you directly to a page where you can join, if it doesn't take you there but to your my groups page, maybe the group is deleted or changed it's URL making the invite not work
