How do I put HTML on my yahoo group?

Looking for a group discussion email host (competitor to Yahoo Groups)?

I currently host a Yahoo Group of some 3,500 subscribers. I'd like to monetize that a bit by allowing banner ads - but Yahoo Groups doesn't allow HTML in the email footer. Google Groups might be an option, but their digest format is seriously messed up. I don't even mind paying a bit if the service is good, but it must allow me to put HTML into the email header or footer so I can put ads there. Anyone have any recommendations?

The alternatives for the free yahoo groups can be a very expensive list servers. However, if you use google or yahoo to search for "listserve service" you will find some that claim to be free with advertising, along with the for pay services. I looked through this about three years ago and the only thing that looked good was very expensive (at least for my pocketbook). I ended up with Yahoo.
