Does the "Not Spam" button really do anything?

Spam filtering not working in my Groups area?

  • Hi, I moderate a Yahoo Group. I get tons of Spam mail sent to the email address of the group. Spam filtering of messages is ON, accordiing to the Management screen. However, there is never anything in the Spam folder. And, there does not appear to be a "mark as spam" button in the Pending messages area. either. Thanks

    I have noticed the same. The built-in spam filter is mostly useless. Just set the messages to moderate new members and ban the offenders. You can set the group to restricted to make it harder for the spammers to join.
