What is the best way to find new members for a yahoo group?

How to stop members adding people-me/you to yahoo groups without permission?

• According to yahoo groups information, its against the Yahoo! Groups Terms of Service to add people to your group without their permission - so how come I was added to the group BEACON-2 without giving permission -- or even being asked or invited to join? I received an email from a yahoo group telling me they added me to their group and that I would get emails from the group as well as members. I immediately went to the group and unsubscribed. This is annoying and an invasion of my privacy. I tried to find the proper email address to voice my complaint but (of course) this is not easily found. Is their as least a way to disallow this practice in preferences or my profile before it starts? ANNOYED!
