Yahoo Groups Owners and creators?

Is there any way to find out who the creator of a Yahoo Group is? On a Yahoo Group home page, there is no indication of who originally created and/or owns that group- just an email address to mail to. Also, is there a way to find out what groups Yahoo members run under their particular 'nicks?

Usually spammers seek the kind of info you're requesting but be careful, Yahoo is cracking down on people who abuse the system. The answer is no, there is no shortcut to finding that info short of writing to the owner, if you're a member of the group. If you're not, they'll probably treat your message as spam since it is really none of your business. I don't suppose you'll be choosing this as best answer but as an owner I can tell you that the volume of spam we have to contend with is intolerable.

In my list of members the owner has a little colored crown by her name and so do the operator/s, only it's different colors. It won't show all the groups they own or moderate. Why would you need to know anyhow? Just ask them.
