How can I delete my Yahoo Group without deleting my Yahoo account?

Im deleting my account & i havent heard from yahoo before, about deleting my FORMER group, what will they do?

  • i had a group & coulnt delete it & some sweet person offered to take group & see if it can be deleted & that person found out ( were both not blind now) LOL & that person coulnt delete it either, as no delete tab Visable, But im deleting my account soon & what if yahoo gets a hold of me after my account is closed? im worried somewhat..any answers?

    If u want to give up yahoo u need to delete entire account visit Account Deletion page. https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user u will be asked to sign in to or verify ur password for the account u wish to delete. after the deletion process is initiated, ur account can never be recovered. goodluck ^_^

Regards, Gidget******* there was no mention of a fix for the glitch so for other's wanted to delete their group and the tab just isn't there, send the help form I am that person who helped. since you're no longer in that group, you can delete your account and be worry-free. I have not gotten an answer from the 2 places I sent to yet, and the delete tab still is not there.

sounds like that sweet person, is very helpfull, the one above me, & i heard theres lotts of glitches in yahoo groups because of there updating & new look of provilles & such, im sure everything will be fine, dont worry,

Click management lower left on your home page. Then you will see "delete group." Click and follow the prompts.
