Is it possible for me to put a background in my group?

Hardly anyone is joining my Yahoo group and thsoe that have aren't posting. Below is description. Suggestions?

• This is what I put in the group description on the home page. "This is a place for people to come together who are tired of the way our government is handling our family court cases and also the department of the state responsible for investigating cases of child abuse and placing children in foster homes. Many of us have already made headway in finding laws, acts and organizations for this purpose. This is my effort to bring all people together to network within one group. You are welcome to join, no matter what your background is or what country you are in. Unfortunately, this grave problem is gripping families all over the world. When it comes to our gov't, it is very corrupt on all levels and the departments that handle family law and also child abuse investigation are no different. No matter where you are in the world or what your background is, I'm sure you will have something valuable to contribute and you are more than welcome. There are Yahoo groups for this purpose besides this one but mine is the only one I know of that will not allow personal insults against others yet at the same time promotes change in our governments, offers solutions and fully encourages communication between members outside of the group. As always, please be careful of what you say in emails with people you meet on this group or anywhere, since you cannot actually see who is behind their email address. It may be someone hired by your ex, CPS, etc to investigate you. Everything is fair play over the internet. Also, please note I am very serious about keeping this group clean. I will not tolerate any disrespectful posts or abusive emails to other members. I cannot control who emails who privately, nor should I. However, abusive emails are out of line. And if a member feels they have been attacked by a fellow member with threats, etc, I sincerely urge them to forward the email to me as proof and I will ban them and will not remove them from the ban list. I am adding this paragraph due to my experience in similar groups." Thanks.

  If I were in need of such a group, I would not be inclined to join yours. You have written a very good description of your group and you have enumerated quite a few problematic areas. I see your concern for others, yes, but I find the warnings to be rather scary. If I were to join, I would not use my real name and I would open an email account strictly for your group, without an identifying shred of information. But! Email addresses can almost always be traced by IP. I would go to a library to connect. I wish you luck, however. This is an important cause and you are indeed right to pursue it.
