How do I keep Yahoo! groups events from showing up on my Calendar?

How do I keep a group's calendar events from appearing on my personal Yahoo calendar?

  • I have this one group who has a daily recurring activity and I don't want it on my personal calendar. Then another group's activities (can be several in one day) are also in my personal calendar. Is there a way to turn this off? If I want to know a group's events, I will go to their group webpage and check. I don't want everyone's group stuff on my personal calendar and I've had no success trying to find a way to take them all off. I'm part of several groups and it's beginning to overwhelm my personal calendar. Thanks!

    They should be 2 separate calendars. Things for the group should be on the website group calendar and your personal things should be going to your Yahoo personal calendar under email options. I wouldn't want it all on my personal either! Actually, I don't know how this is happening on your end?

http://calendar.mail.yahoo.com/ -left top click options- 3rd column under events click Time Guides- under Groups, uncheck any and all- click save bottom left ** it's a neat little feature to combine group(s) calendar with your own and many people use this feature, the same as you can share with family and friends. happens all the time, group calendar ends up on your own- but there is a setting to change that.
