Yahoo id of group owner locked - how to change owner?

  • Last year, there was this time when most of my friends including my yahoo id's was locked - we tried logging in with our regular yahoo id and pw, but it didn't work. Eventually, I had to forfeit my id. I created another id and since we had couple of moderators made myselves a moderator. Is there a way to change the owner now or reset my original yahoo id's password (all attempts to retrieve it, including secret question etc. have failed)

    there are 9 privileges available to a moderator and one of them can change them, check your members list and edit yourself to see what you have. if you want to be the owner, you will have to move the group to a new one, if it's not to big, you can add 10 per day, or just tell the group and invite everyone over to the new group you can ask yahoo, but don't get your hopes up
