If you invite people to a restricted Yahoo group, will they be able to join without further approval?
-
I have selected "restricted" as membership for my Yahoo group. But have noticed that members I have invited to join do not need further approval. Is this correct? What settings should I use so that I have to approve members?
-
Answer:
Invites bypass the approval. The idea is is, you're giving a pre approval by sending the invite. Only those who happen upon the group and click join from off the group need membership approval.
