Can I restrict which members can access the Files?

Files posted into my group are now inaccessible. Why?

• I created a family group in 2006 to provide files to all my family members in dealing with our parent's estate. In checking the group, it appears that those files are still intact under the files section of our group. I just tried to access one of the .pdf files that is uploaded to the site and received a response of a new page that states that "those files are inaccessible" with no explanation. They were mostly all uploaded in 2006 and can understand if they're archived somewhere that takes a while to download, but to not have any clarification at all about why they're inaccessible is frustrating. Any one know the parameters about how long uploaded files are accessible or what the guidelines are about accessability timelines?

  I have PDF files from 2004, every one of them still load. I'd have another member try opening them, or try a different browser.
